Saturday, June 18th will be a busy day. I just know it. As has been long promised, Gail Good will give a demonstration of spinning with a drop spindle for our Saturday Circle at 11:30 a.m.
That’s Gail on the right in the picture of spinners in the last post, and here she is, again on the right, during our Grand Opening. In this shot, of course, she’s working with her Louet Julia wheel, not a drop spindle, alongside Linda, who was weaving in the last post. We have some pretty amazingly talented customers, don’t we?
And Saturday will be the last day of our Clean Sweep Sale. Last chance to either stock up or splurge on yarns that are reduced from 25-45%. Several of the 40% off yarns have sold out in some colors to the folks who were able to shop early and often, but believe me – there’s still lots and lots of yarn to choose from.
Plus I’m teaching one of my favorite classes, Knitting Lace for the First Time, so I’ll be in the classroom until 1:00 p.m., when our regular Stitch & Spin starts. (There might be a few hints dropped about who took our orders for fall/winter yarns at the trade show this past weekend, in advance of my next post, which will show Jill “in action” in vendor booths.)
I’m really looking forward to Saturday’s full house. Hope you are, too. Our hours on Friday and Saturday are 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Come early, enjoy Gail’s demo, bring your work, stay to play.
